we’re asked to believe that voting laws in Georgia and Texas restrict minority voting. This is related to requirements to provide reasonable identification. These requirements are less onerous than those required to get a drivers license or obtain covered medical care or use a credit card or board an airplane. Efforts by democrats to ease these requirements nationwide represent a simple raw power grab. Their theory is that more voted for Dems will result from these legislative efforts. They have nothing to do with legitimate concern for minority welfare . The same strategy applies to bids for statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico. This political cynicism must be exposed for what it is.

Whoseever policy this is is on the right track. One advocated by many including Elliott Abrams and Henry Kissinger; i.e.,, ENGAGE don’t disengage., ala Obama and Trump. Remain Western Europe’s reliable ally, and that of Isreal, our best Mid-East ally by far.
